Waddesdon has three public access automated external defibrillators
An automated external defibrillator (AED) is a portable device designed for use by anyone. It automatically analyses a person’s heart rhythm and, if necessary, delivers an electric shock to restore normal rhythm. AEDs can be life-saving in cases of cardiac arrest and are simple to use with clear instructions provided. Immediate use of an AED, along with calling emergency services, can significantly increase survival chances.
Our public access AEDs are housed in bright yellow boxes for easy visibility. You’ll find one in the centre of the village on the wall of the fire station, another at the Community Centre, and a third at the Bowls Club car park. All locations are marked on the map below. We encourage everyone to familiarise themselves with these locations. Regular maintenance ensures these AEDs are always ready for use.
